Question of the day: NISM Series XIX-A

Chapter 4 · AIF Regulatory FrameworkHard

For AIF investment limits, "investable funds" means:

  • AThe gross corpus of the scheme
  • BCorpus net of expected fees and expenses
  • CThe amount drawn down from investors so far
  • DThe net asset value on the valuation date
Investable funds are the corpus after deducting expected fees and expenses over the fund's life.

Exam trap: "Investable funds" means the corpus net of estimated expenses for management fees and other expenses over the fund's tenure, not the gross corpus.
